About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to join our team based at Osborne, SA. Reporting to the Head of CSR, the Manager CSR is accountable for executing ASC’s CSR strategy, as well as engaging with key stakeholders to achieve social licence within the Australian community. With the support of a Community Engagement Officer, the Manager CSR will be responsible for the delivery of the operational aspects of the strategy and meeting the KPI’s set.

This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including employees, community partners, and industry leaders, to drive initiatives that align with our corporate values and enhance our social and environmental footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CSR and community engagement, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve measurable CSR goals.

You will maintain a strategic perspective of the entire business and consider a wide range of longer-term issues, opportunities and risks to ensure ongoing business success.

Responsibilities

  • Execute ASC’s CSR strategy that aligns with its mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Lead the identification and mitigation of risks related to the execution of the CSR strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, community organisations, non-profits, government agencies, and industry peers.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact of CSR initiatives.
  • Effectively manage, track, and report on CSR performance and compliance.
  • Conduct research and implement CSR best practice.

About you 

  • Tertiary qualifications in political science, economics, business, environmental science, communications or other relevant discipline.
  • 5 - 10 years in a Corporate Social Responsibility role.
  • Demonstrated experience formulating and delivering an effective CSR Strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and community engagement and consulting with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel interstate.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on society and the environment.

Optional secondment for a 12 month period in 2025/26 to the UK is an opportunity associated with this role and is open for negotiation with the successful candidate.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
