About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic People and Culture Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to successfully deliver on the departmental People Plan. You will act as an advisor, coach, and facilitator, managing people-related issues and driving best practice outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters.
  • Facilitate and build leadership capability and develop people plans.
  • Partner with specialist functions within the People and Culture team to deliver best practice P&C support to the program.
  • Proactively resolve People and Culture related situations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Provide a lead role in supporting organisational design and change.

 

Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK timezone) is required. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis.

 

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a related field, with at least 3 years in a business partnering role.
  • Strong experience in managing complex employee relations and organisational design.
  • Proven ability to manage key stakeholders through change and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and resilience.
  • Strategic vision and ability to see the big picture.

 

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
