About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Support and Test Equipment Manager SA/WA, the WA S&TE Team Lead is responsible for ensuring all Support and Test Equipment is safe, certified, available, and located appropriately to support scheduled maintenance periods and urgent defect rectification (URDEFs).

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing tool stores, calibration, purchasing, preventive maintenance, quarantine of damaged equipment, logistics, and compliance across WA operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance across ASC’s WA sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the WA Support & Test Equipment team across tool stores, calibration, purchasing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Prepare and manage weekly team rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all tool stores.
  • Coordinate regular and emergency overtime coverage to meet operational demands.
  • Act as the WA site point of contact for quarterly electrical test and tag and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure IFS work orders are raised, maintained, and closed with correct Quality Objective Evidence (QOE).
  • Oversee quarantine reporting for damaged or lost equipment and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Manage the purchasing and replenishment of new and replacement equipment via IFS.
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly dangerous goods locker mustering and ensure accurate system records.
  • Organise packaging, transport, and distribution of equipment between ASC sites and warehouses.
  • Maintain up-to-date S&TE documentation and ensure compliance with CMS processes.
  • Lead workplace safety inspections and raise and close out safety concerns within MYOSH.
  • Ensure WA ASC SCA account compliance through regular audits and data accuracy.

About You

You are a practical, solutions-focused team leader with a strong background in equipment management, warehousing, maintenance coordination, or technical operations. You lead from the front, communicate clearly, and thrive in structured, safety-critical environments. You are highly organised, process-driven, and confident managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational setting.

You will also bring:

Previous experience leading a technical, maintenance, logistics, or warehousing team.
Strong working knowledge of safety systems, compliance frameworks, and preventive maintenance programs.
Experience using enterprise systems such as IFS (or similar ERP).
High attention to detail with the ability to manage audits, records, and regulatory documentation.
Sound judgment, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Check.

This role also requires eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to Baseline level.
