About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Support and Test Equipment Manager SA/WA, the WA S&TE Team Lead is responsible for ensuring all Support and Test Equipment is safe, certified, available, and located appropriately to support scheduled maintenance periods and urgent defect rectification (URDEFs).
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing tool stores, calibration, purchasing, preventive maintenance, quarantine of damaged equipment, logistics, and compliance across WA operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance across ASC’s WA sites.
Responsibilities
About You
You are a practical, solutions-focused team leader with a strong background in equipment management, warehousing, maintenance coordination, or technical operations. You lead from the front, communicate clearly, and thrive in structured, safety-critical environments. You are highly organised, process-driven, and confident managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational setting.
You will also bring:
Previous experience leading a technical, maintenance, logistics, or warehousing team.
Strong working knowledge of safety systems, compliance frameworks, and preventive maintenance programs.
Experience using enterprise systems such as IFS (or similar ERP).
High attention to detail with the ability to manage audits, records, and regulatory documentation.
Sound judgment, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Check.
This role also requires eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to Baseline level.
