ASC’s Training Services team deliver a range of courses to train the next generation of Navy submariners. This rewarding role is an opportunity to share your knowledge in control room system operations. You will also contribute to training development, technology updates and other related activities.
About the Opportunity
This civilian role, based on Garden Island WA, delivers Collins Class Submarine platform systems operator training at the Royal Australian Navy’s world class training facility on HMAS Stirling. You will teach classroom and practical scenario simulator classes using a range of specialist equipment before assessing student’s performance. You will also contribute to training development and the introduction of new capability onto the submarine. This is an opportunity for you to share your submarine expertise and use the latest learning technologies to meet our student’s and client’s requirements for high quality training. Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
