About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Governance Officer to join our dynamic team supporting supplier risk, assurance, and compliance activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring our supply chain practices meet strategic and regulatory requirements, contributing to audit readiness, ethical sourcing, and governance maturity across a complex, multi-program defence environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support supplier onboarding, pre-screening, and qualification using platforms like JOSCAR, FRDM, Sayari, and ASIC.
  • Monitor supplier risk indicators (e.g., modern slavery, sanctions, financial health) and escalate concerns.
  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional fit-for-business assessments.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and data across systems.
  • Contribute to the review and update of supply chain policies, procedures, and CMS documentation.
  • Help develop dashboards and reporting tools for risk and compliance tracking.
  • Support audit preparation, evidence collation, and action tracking.
  • Maintain risk registers and compliance obligations in systems such as Predict and CAMMs.
  • Assist with training and awareness initiatives for supply chain governance processes.

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification (or working towards) in supply chain, business, law, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in supply chain, compliance, or governance roles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, supplier assurance, or risk management frameworks is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with platforms like JOSCAR, CAMMs, Predict is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated, fast-paced environment with evolving compliance requirements.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
