ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in our growing Talent & Performance team. As a Talent & Performance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping ASC’s talent strategy. You’ll design and implement talent frameworks that support our business goals, lead performance and talent review cycles lead processes to identify and track key talent groups and collaborate across the organisation to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain talent management frameworks, governance, and processes that identify and support key talent groups.
  • Lead succession planning activities across the business.
  • Lead performance and talent review cycles, including calibration and reporting.
  • Develop education and resources to support leaders and employees.
  • Manage talent and HRIS systems and provide technical support for role specific projects.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with P&C Business Partners and OD teams to align talent strategies.
  • Track development plans for key talent groups.

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide talent frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of performance management and succession planning.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally in a complex environment.

Eligibility
