About the Opportunity

Help shape and support the engineering technologies used in the design and delivery of Australia's current and future submarines. Working closely with engineering and design teams, you'll support, improve and evolve the digital tools and platforms that enable engineering delivery.

Based in Adelaide SA, or Perth WA for an exceptional candidate, you'll work across engineering systems, user support, process improvement and technology initiatives that enable engineering teams to deliver effectively.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting and evolving the tools and systems used by engineering and design teams.
  • Troubleshooting issues and improving the user experience across engineering technologies.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
  • Contributing to technology enhancements, platform improvements and new initiatives.

 

About you

You may come from a digital engineering, design technology, engineering systems or engineering applications support background. We're interested in people who understand engineering design environments and enjoy improving the technology, systems and processes that enable engineering teams to deliver complex outcomes.

Backgrounds that may align include:

  • Digital Engineering
  • Design Technology
  • Computational Design
  • Engineering Systems
  • Engineering Applications Support

Skills and experience may include:

  • CAD and engineering design technologies.
  • Teamcenter or similar PLM platforms.
  • Engineering technology platforms.
  • Systems support, configuration or administration.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
