About the Opportunity

Based in either South Australia or Western Australia, the Health Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across ASC’s Health Centres in both states, overseeing occupational health nursing services and associated allied and clinical support arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Health Centres in South Australia and Western Australia.
• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of occupational health programs, nursing and allied health services.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality health service delivery.
• Lead clinical and operational governance, including policies, procedures, audits, incident investigations, risk management and compliance.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, supervision and capability development across clinical and administrative teams.
• Oversee budgets, service planning, external healthcare providers and overall Health Centre performance.
• Monitor health metrics, compliance and key performance indicators to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships across Health, WHSE, People & Culture and Operations to support organisational and workforce health priorities.
• Ensure services meet relevant legislative, professional, privacy and organisational requirements.

About you

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration, or 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in a Practice Management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Administration, Nursing or a related healthcare field is desirable.
• Based in South Australia or Western Australia
• Minimum 7 years’ post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in Occupational Health management.
• Demonstrated experience working within occupational or industrial health environments.
• Strong experience in injury management and return-to-work coordination.
• Experience delivering health surveillance programs and workplace health risk assessments.
• Sound knowledge and experience in workplace hazard management, including chemical and ergonomic risks.
• Strong clinical leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management capabilities.

 Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Baseline Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
