About the Opportunity

AIAMS (Advanced Integrated Asset Management System) is a strategic transformation program that enhances Collins Class Submarine sustainment through improved asset management, reliability engineering, advanced analytics and AI to improve asset availability, performance and long-term sustainment outcomes.

As Senior Project Manager, AIAMS, you will lead the delivery of this critical enterprise initiative, driving program execution, governance and stakeholder engagement across a complex engineering and operational environment. • Establish and monitor program controls, performance measures and reporting to support informed decision-making and effective governance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key interface for customer and program delivery partners
  • Partner with engineering leadership to support the successful delivery of engineering-centric work, ensuring technical risks, requirements and workforce capability are effectively managed
  • Foster a high-performing, outcome-focused team culture that promotes accountability, continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving

About you

  • Proven experience leading complex engineering, asset management, sustainment or operational programs within large, multidisciplinary organisations
  • Experience within asset-intensive industries such as defence, maritime, mining, maintenance and repair operations (MRO), utilities, or similar environments
  • Experience working on asset management projects, programs, systems, or transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries

  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain effective relationships across customers, senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability, with a proactive approach to managing risks, resolving challenges and driving continuous improvement
