About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Learning & Development Operations Manager you will deliver a key role responsible for implementing learning and development solutions and ensuring alignment with the national organisational Learning and Development strategy.

You will be accountable for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of L&D initiatives to increase capability, drive high performance and improve culture across the business. This includes conducting training needs analysis, designing fit for purpose solutions and project managing to coordinating and facilitating learning programs.  Together with maintaining strong working relationship with the wider P&C Department and L&OD Teams, ensuring ongoing operational support of Learning and Development Department while consistently demonstrating positive behaviours in line with the organisational values.

Permanent, full-time position based in Henderson, WA.

 

Responsibilities

Support Learning and Development initiatives, with a focus on employee development and the implementation of key projects such as:

  • Coaching and mentoring programs
  • Induction and onboarding programs
  • Leadership and team development programs
  • Safety and Annual Compliance Programs
  • Technical and discipline specific programs
  • Early Careers and Industry Bridging Programs
  • Develop and maintain high quality relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to build trust and the L&D brand.
  • Provide managers and individuals with advice and information relating to both corporate and individual learning and development solutions.

 

About You

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
  • Diploma of Training Design and Development or similar (preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role working across a multi-site business
  • Experience in L&D program development and competency framework development (preferred)
  • Strong people, learning and development focus, with the ability to support leaders, teams and individuals in achieving their capability and skills development goals
  • Ability to work at both a strategic level, as well as design, implement and facilitated activities and solutions for customers
  • Capacity to work independently, as an embedded member of the L&D team
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
