ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

About the Opportunity
A recruitment role like no other. At ASC, we are stepping up our commitment to bring the experience and expertise of veterans into the business and we are looking for someone who wants to make that mission their own.
You will not be simply filling roles. You will be pulling down the barriers that too often keep skilled ex military personnel out of civilian careers, whether that is translating military experience into language our hiring managers understand, being the person on the ground who actually gets what transitioning out of the Defence Force is like and offering high level support through the recruitment process or sitting in on interviews to offer expertise and consultation around translatable skills.
You will proactively build relationships with candidates including veterans through phonecreening, make recommendations on suitability for roles and talent pool for roles in the future.
You will build and maintain relationships with veteran organisations and turn those relationships into strategic partnerships.
There is no other recruitment role quite like it. If you want work with this much purpose behind it, keep reading.
