About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a Technical Authority Coordinator to support ASC’s senior technical leadership in evolving governance frameworks and information flows as we transition to a multi-class submarine organisation. Reporting to the Head of Technical Governance and Assurance, you’ll coordinate technical councils, streamline processes, and ensure efficient communication of critical technical information across ASC. This role is key to driving improvements, supporting strategic objectives, and enabling ASC to meet contractual deliverables for Australia’s nuclear and conventional submarine programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ASC’s technical councils (Quality, Technical, Product Safety, etc.), ensuring efficient information flow and action tracking.
  • Maintain and improve the technical council framework and associated documentation to support multi-class submarine operations.
  • Lead change management and communication for updates to Technical Governance and Assurance policies and frameworks.
  • Capture, analyse, and visualise technical information to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Develop processes for performance measurement within the Technical Governance and Assurance department.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to influence positive change and promote governance initiatives across ASC.

About you 

  • Strong understanding of reporting structures, processes, and systems in complex organisations.
  • Skilled in collecting, analysing, and communicating technical information through multiple formats (slides, documents, dashboards).
  • Experience in high-risk or regulated industries is desirable.
  • Highly organised, structured, and collaborative, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and managing concurrent projects effectively.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
