About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Reporting Specialist to play a pivotal role in strengthening our organisation’s safety performance and zero‑harm commitment. The Reporting Specialist will lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of WHSE reporting systems, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and meaningful insights. Working closely with WHSE Advisors, operational leaders, and senior management, this role will help to shape a proactive and data‑driven safety culture across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update WHSE databases to ensure accurate, complete, and high‑quality safety data.
• Compile, deliver and validate the accuracy of all WHSE reports and performance dashboards to key stakeholders.
• Ensure reporting and documentation meet internal and external compliance and audit requirements.
• Support WHSE teams by analysing incident and hazard data, identifying trends, and recommending preventative actions.
• Identify and implement improvements to WHSE reporting systems, tools, and processes.
• Support strategic WHSE planning through data insights and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure data integrity and drive a proactive safety culture

About you 

• Demonstrable experience in data collation, analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Experienced in the use of data management and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or WHSE incident reporting systems.
• Strong ability to interpret statistical data, identify insights, and prepare clear and structured reports.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling, reporting, and documentation.
• Tertiary qualification in a discipline such as Work Health and Safety, Data Analytics, or another related discipline is highly desirable. 
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and incident reporting processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrates integrity, resilience, and a customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to influence and support others.
• Curious, structured, and strategic in your approach, with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
