About the Opportunity

ASC are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to strengthen and maintain the enterprise network environment that supports critical business operations. Working within the Infrastructure and Operations team and based in Perth WA, you'll be responsible for ensuring network services remain secure, reliable and high performing across a diverse enterprise environment. You'll provide technical expertise across networking and security technologies, supporting operational excellence while contributing to the ongoing evolution of ASC's network capabilities.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage and support ASC's enterprise network environment, ensuring high levels of availability, performance and security.
• Administer and optimise Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching and wireless infrastructure.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls and network security services to protect critical business systems and data.
• Monitor network performance, investigate incidents and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to network upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support network monitoring, logging and operational resilience activities.
• Assess and manage network-related risks, vulnerabilities and security concerns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to deliver effective network outcomes.

About you 

• Experience supporting complex enterprise network environments.
• Degree qualifications in Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routing, switching and wireless technologies.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA and/or CCNP are highly regarded.
• Experience supporting Palo Alto or comparable network security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-solving skills.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, security and service reliability.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
