About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Infrastructure Program Manager, you will support the delivery of capital infrastructure and engineering projects across ASC's South Australian sites.

Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you'll coordinate project activities, contractors, stakeholders, and documentation to help deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality infrastructure outcomes that support one of Australia's most significant defence programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of capital infrastructure and engineering projects from planning through to completion.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate site access, inductions and contractor compliance in line with safety and operational requirements.
  • Assist with project planning, scoping, scheduling and risk management activities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, financial records, purchase orders and invoice tracking.
  • Monitor project status and provide regular project progress reports in support of project controls activities.
  • Contribute to project commissioning, handover and close-out activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery, safety and operational efficiency.

 

About you 

You are organised, proactive and safety-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving forward.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience coordinating or supporting project delivery in infrastructure, facilities, engineering or construction environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exposure to contractor management, procurement or project administration.
  • A sound understanding of WHS and contractor safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project (or similar scheduling tools).
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.

Defence or other highly regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
