About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Design Manager to lead ASC’s Business Design Team within the Transformation Office. This pivotal role ensures business analysis and process design expertise is delivered across major transformation programs and projects. You will manage a team of specialists, champion customer requirements, and drive innovative business design solutions that enable ASC’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Business Design Team, including Business Analysts and SMEs.
  • Provide business analysis and process design expertise to transformation programs and projects.
  • Gather, document, and maintain business requirements and ensure alignment with project scope.
  • Deliver change impact analyses in collaboration with Organisational Change Management.
  • Oversee business and functional design activities across assigned programs.
  • Develop and implement methodologies, tools, and frameworks for business design.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure engagement and successful outcomes.

About you 

  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in large, complex environments.
  • 10+ years in business process design/reengineering or senior business analysis roles.
  • Proven success delivering significant business process changes in challenging environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience influencing at executive level.
  • Expertise in organisational change management and contemporary transformation practices.
  • Highly autonomous, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis, Process Design, Lean, Six Sigma (desirable).

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
