About the Opportunity

ASC is undergoing significant growth and organisational change as it gears up for the nuclear-powered submarine work. The Change Advisor will be actively involved in major organisation-wide transformation projects, such as our operating model transition and the multi-phase Digital Transformation Program.

As a member of the Change Team, the Change Advisor supports the delivery of change activities related to business projects and initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role which actively engages with multiple stakeholders and employees through the delivery of change and engagement activities.

The Change Advisor supports the Change Team in the development of change initiatives that may include impact assessments, development of briefing / communication materials, workshop facilitation, process mapping and documentation, training needs analysis and training material development.

This position is a permanent, full-time role based at our head office in Osborne, SA.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver change management approaches and activities which optimise business awareness and readiness
  • Deliver stakeholder management plans, change plans and roadmaps, communication and training materials and activities as identified in the Change Strategy and / or plan.
  • Deliver change activities in a consistent, effective and professional manner in conjunction with stakeholders or managers to the impacted business areas
  • Tailor change plans and activities in alignment with impact and readiness assessments
  • Provide guidance to business leaders/employees in managing change.
  • Work with leaders and their teams to help them to understand what change is required, how and when it needs to be implemented to meet business needs.

About you 

  • Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications, such as Human Resources, Business, Change Management and/or Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience at managing change and engagement at an organisational level.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with stakeholders, build positive relationships, and to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work activities simultaneously.
  • The ability to effectively resolve issues and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance.
