About the Opportunity

ASC is undergoing significant growth and organisational change as it gears up for the nuclear-powered submarine work. The Change Lead will be actively involved in major organisation-wide transformation projects, such as our operating model transition and the multi-phase Digital Transformation Program.

Reporting to the Change Manager, this role will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering change activities related to strategic business projects and initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role which actively engages with multiple stakeholders and employees through the design and delivery of change and engagement activities.

The Change Lead is responsible for the development of change strategies, change plans and supporting the business through change execution, including the development and delivery of change initiatives, preparation of communication materials, and training activities including training needs analysis, training design, development and delivery.

We have two positions available, based at our Osborne, SA office:

1 x Permanent 

1 x 12 month fixed-term-contract

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to manage the change, including stakeholder impact analysis, communications, training and engagement schedule, and business change readiness assessment.
  • Lead the day-to-day tactical aspects of change activities and act as a point of contact for change support.
  • Manage the delivery of communications activities.
  • Work with project and business leaders to ensure there is a strong link between technology, process and change.
  • Monitor and report on progress of change management plans and activities to leadership/project teams.
  • Develop training plans (as required) in collaboration with L&D to maximise employee adoption and manage resistance.
  • Work with project leads and the business to identify impacts to employees and other stakeholders as a result of the change.
  • Develop change plans and lead change activities that meet business requirements and result in successful change adoption, in accordance with ASC’s Change Management approach.
  • Identify people-related change risks and create mitigation plans to manage associated risks.

About you 

  • 3 + years experience in leading complex organisational change across people, process and technology.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, and an understanding of how individuals go through a change and the change process.
  • Excellent skills and experience in the development and implementation of business-led change management strategies and plans.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and strong consulting and networking skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings with stakeholders from various parts of an organisation.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills in potentially complex and fast-paced situations.
