About the Opportunity 

 

Join ASC as a Configuration Change Lead and support the delivery of Configuration Management activities across Australia's submarine sustainment programs. 

Reporting to the Configuration Manager, you'll lead a team of Configuration professionals responsible for maintaining configuration baselines, coordinating change activities and ensuring Configuration Management outputs are delivered accurately and on schedule. 

Working closely with Engineering, Projects and Defence stakeholders, you'll help deliver practical Configuration Management outcomes that support submarine maintenance and sustainment activities. 

 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead the delivery of Configuration Management activities across submarine sustainment programs.  

  • Maintain configuration baselines and drive configuration change outcomes to meet critical project milestones.  

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of Configuration Management professionals.  

  • Work closely with Engineering, Projects and Defence stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver results.  

  • Champion quality, compliance and continuous improvement within the Configuration Management function.  

 

 

About You 

 

  • Demonstrable Configuration Management experience within Defence, maritime, engineering or other complex technical environments.  

  • Proven experience managing configuration baselines, change processes and delivery outcomes in regulated environments.  

  • Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring teams, prioritising workloads and driving performance.  

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Projects and customer organisations.  

 

 

Eligibility 

 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
