ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. Our work is purposeful. What we do contributes directly to Australia’s national security. At ASC, you will find meaningful work, opportunities to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC offers a deeper purpose you can be proud of.

You will provide authoritative advice on supplier governance, qualification frameworks, risk management and assurance requirements while helping to strengthen ASC's supplier governance capability.

Working within a highly regulated defence environment, you will play a key role in identifying emerging risks, supporting governance decision-making and driving the ongoing maturity of ASC's supplier assurance frameworks, tools and processes.

About You

·       Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Law or a related discipline.

·       7+ years' experience in senior supply chain, governance, compliance, risk or assurance roles.

·       Strong understanding of supplier governance, supplier assurance and risk management frameworks.

·       Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality, compliance or assurance frameworks.

·       Experience providing governance advice and influencing decisions in complex stakeholder environments.

·       Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

·       Experience using Microsoft Office applications and supplier assurance platforms such as JOSCAR, FRDM or similar systems will be highly regarded.

·       Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery outcomes in a complex and highly regulated environment.
