About the Opportunity
ASC is seeking an experienced and highly organised Occupational Health Nurse to join our Henderson Health Centre.
This is a diverse role that combines occupational health nursing with a significant administrative and coordination component. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Health Centre, maintaining accurate health records, coordinating workplace health programs and ensuring compliance with a range of occupational health requirements.
The role is ideally suited to a nurse who enjoys working in a highly organised environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and efficient systems. Strong administrative and computer skills are essential, as a significant portion of the role involves data management, documentation, health surveillance coordination, reporting and case administration.
Working within a high-risk industrial environment, no two days are the same. The successful candidate will also possess strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to confidently respond to a broad range of employee presentations ranging from minor illnesses and injuries through to more complex or urgent situations requiring escalation and coordination of care.
About You
You are an experienced and professional Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration who thrives in a role that combines clinical care, administration, coordination and employee engagement.
You are highly organised, exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. You enjoy working autonomously, take ownership of your workload and are committed to providing a high standard of service to employees and stakeholders.
Most importantly, you possess sound clinical judgement and the ability to remain calm and effective when responding to unexpected situations within a dynamic and high-risk workplace setting.
