ASC is Australia’s submarine company. From sustaining the Collins Class fleet and delivering its Life of Type Extension to helping build Australia’s future nuclear-powered submarines, we play a critical role in the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history. Our work is meaningful, challenging and directly contributes to Australia’s national security. At ASC, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career, enjoy genuine flexibility, and be part of something bigger than yourself.

About the Opportunity

As Organisational Resilience Manager, you'll lead the development and continuous improvement of ASC's organisational resilience capability, helping the organisation anticipate, prepare for, respond to and recover from disruption. Working across the enterprise, you'll drive business continuity, crisis management, preparedness and assurance activities while strengthening resilience awareness and capability across the business. Working closely with specialist functions across ASC, you'll coordinate and integrate resilience capability, leveraging existing expertise to build a connected and resilient organisation. This role can be based in Adelaide, SA or Perth, WA, with occasional interstate travel required.

This is a rare opportunity to lead an enterprise capability that underpins ASC's ability to adapt, grow and continue delivering critical outcomes in an increasingly complex operating environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the ongoing development of ASC's organisational resilience, business continuity and crisis management capabilities.
  • Develop scalable frameworks, systems and governance processes that strengthen resilience and support a complex, multi-program operating environment.
  • Drive resilience training, exercising and preparedness activities that strengthen organisational capability and readiness.
  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts across the business to coordinate resilience initiatives, integrate capability and strengthen organisational ownership of resilience outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, emergency management organisations and industry partners.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations that support informed decision-making and organisational preparedness.

About You

You're a resilient and influential leader who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery. You excel in complex environments, bringing people together, building trusted relationships and driving outcomes through collaboration, influence and shared ownership.

You'll have:

  • Built and matured organisational resilience, business continuity or crisis management capabilities within a complex organisation.
  • Developed scalable frameworks, systems and governance processes that strengthened resilience and supported organisational growth.
  • Designed and facilitated executive crisis simulations, leadership exercises and preparedness activities.
  • Delivered enterprise-wide training, awareness and capability initiatives that improved organisational readiness.
  • Worked across large, complex organisations where success depended on collaboration across multiple functions, priorities and stakeholder groups.
  • Influenced senior leaders and subject matter experts to drive outcomes and implement change without direct authority.
