About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a proactive and relationship-driven People and Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partnering Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering strategic and operational HR support across the business. You’ll work closely with leaders and stakeholders to drive best practice outcomes, support employee relations, and contribute to the implementation of our People Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide generalist HR advice across performance management, onboarding, retention, and career development.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations cases including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support the implementation of operational people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with recruitment to advise on remuneration, selection, and placement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements.
  • Facilitate leadership capability development and coach leaders through people-related matters.
  • Contribute to change and culture initiatives that support organisational outcomes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications or a diploma in HR or a related field (desirable).
  • Proven experience in a generalist People and Culture role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, Fair Work Act, and NES.
  • Skilled in managing complex employee cases and coaching leaders through resolution.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused and inclusive approach.

 

 

Eligibility 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
