About the Opportunity

ASC is experiencing strong growth and is seeking multiple Project Management professionals to join our Nuclear Capability Development (NCD) Business Unit, as we expand our capabilities to support both the Collins Class and Nuclear‑Powered Submarine programs.

As a Project Manager, you will lead simple and complex, long-term business capability growth & enhancement projects. You will coordinate cross functional teams and ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives within NCD Business Unit. The Project Manager will be pivotal in driving project execution across a diverse portfolio within the NCD Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, lead and manage project teams to deliver strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Assist in the development of project management governance framework
  • Establish schedule risk assessments and identify and mitigate project risks
  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with defence and safety standards
  • Report on project progress to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex project environments
  • Strong governance and process development capabilities
  • Skilled in managing projects across diverse portfolios (e.g. supply chain, workforce, technology)
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Primavera P6, Jira, Cobra)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Autonomous, goal-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical or project management discipline

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
