We are now recruiting for a permanent Quality Assurance Advisor due to expansion and growth.

 

 

About the Opportunity

 

ASC is seeking a permanent Quality Assurance Advisor to join our Governance & Assurance team in Osborne, SA.

 

Reporting to the Manager - Process Control and Management, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving ASC’s Corporate Management System (CMS), supporting audit and assurance activities, and ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Working across a broad range of functions, this role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes, support quality system improvements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes that underpin Australia’s sovereign submarine capability.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing maintenance, governance and improvement of ASC’s Corporate Management System (CMS).
  • Coordinate and support internal, external and certification audit activities.
  • Conduct assurance and verification activities to monitor compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and monitor audit findings, corrective actions and Business Improvement Requests (BIRs).
  • Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 55001 standards.
  • Analyse audit outcomes, quality data and trends to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote a strong quality culture.
  • Support second and third-party audits and certification activities.

 

 

About You

 

You are a collaborative and proactive quality professional who enjoys working across systems, processes and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.

 

You will bring:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Compliance or Management Systems environments.
  • Experience supporting audit programs and managing audit findings, corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and exposure to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 55001.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

 

Desirable:

  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Experience within defence, engineering, manufacturing, maritime, mining or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience working with management systems and continuous improvement frameworks.

Australian citizenship is mandatory to be considered for this opportunity. National Police Clearance and medical is also part of the recruitment process.
