ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

About the opportunity

Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program.

We are seeking Human Resource Graduates who have recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Relations, or Business with a major in HR.

This is a structured 2-year program which will commence in July 2026. Located in Osborne, South Australia this program offers outstanding individuals the opportunity to:

  • Commence their HR career with a leading defence organisation
  • Learn and develop through the program
  • Assist the implementation of Learning & Development initiatives across ASC’s lines of business including technical training requirements, training logistics, Learning & Development program development and providing Learning & Development advice to key stakeholders

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. 

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
