About the Opportunity

As our new Technical Business Analyst, you’ll bring a passion for clear communication and structured information flow. Reporting to the Head of Technical Governance and Assurance, you’ll support submarine programs by streamlining how technical insights move through the business. You’ll build strong relationships, coordinate action tracking, and help drive continuous improvement across ASC. Your work will contribute to strategic outcomes that enhance performance, reduce risk, and support long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the technical council framework to support multiple submarine classes
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across governance processes
  • Coordinate ASC’s technical councils by managing schedules, capturing actions, and ensuring effective information flow
  • Track and visualise project status, escalating issues and supporting decision-making
  • Develop and update documentation, including Terms of Reference and information flows
  • Support KPI tracking and performance reporting for the Technical Governance & Assurance team
  • Work with the Head of Department to set targets and manage improvement initiatives

About You

  • Experienced in business improvement and performance tracking across complex environments
  • Analytical and solutions-focused, with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Skilled in structuring and managing technical documentation and reporting systems
  • Proficient in Power BI and other tools for visualising and communicating data
  • Confident working across all levels of the organisation to drive outcomes
  • Highly organised, with a collaborative and process-driven approach

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
