About the Opportunity
The Workforce Planning Lead is accountable for establishing the medium- and long-term workforce planning framework for the Nuclear Powered Submarine (NPS) and the Sovereign Shipbuilding Talent Pool (SSTP) Program, in concert with relevant internal and external stakeholders. This will involve leading the process to undertake workforce supply modelling/gap analysis and identification/monitoring of interventions to address identified gap areas.
The role is also responsible for providing workforce recommendations to influence key business decisions, and monitoring and assessing capability and capacity of the workforce to execute these programs. The position ensures that ASC has the right workforce information to make data driven resource decisions, and ensure ASC is able to meet its objectives by having the correctly skilled resources available at the right time.
