About the Opportunity
This role is pivotal in overseeing the Configuration Management of all information related to the new Submarine Construction Yard (SCY) infrastructure located at Osborne, South Australia. To enable this, the SCY Configuration and Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a Configuration Management Plan that will be used by the Infrastructure Team and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders. A key part of the Plan involves Requirements Management through application of systems engineering principles to manage the full scope of the infrastructure and equipment functional requirements (IFR) while providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team.
The position is responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining configuration baselines for all SCY documents within a document management system and all infrastructure requirements within a requirements management database. This will require new processes and tools to ensure delivery of high-quality Configuration Management solutions. In addition, the role will be required to develop processes for the Infrastructure Team to undertake Assurance of the infrastructure design and construction against the IFR.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Adelaide, SA.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
