About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an IP Administrator to join the team ASC! Reporting to the Intellectual Property Manager; you will provide administrative support to enable the flow of activity as it relates to the Intellectual Property Management procedures and ASC’s compliance obligation.

 

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the Intellectual Property Team and the wider Commercial Team on matters such as IP data management and record keeping, drafting documents and reporting, supporting delivery of agreements and procedures to ensure the Intellectual property is managed effectively.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field or discipline desirable OR equivalent experience in a commercial environment (related to intellectual property, business management or law. Desired but not mandatory). 
  • General Knowledge of intellectual property, and matters related to IP such as types, ownership and licensing. (Defence Industry experience is highly desirable)
  • Relevant experience in contract/commercial administration including problem resolution.
  • Experience in commercial data and reporting, and commercial governance process and procedure.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in working autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time management skills.
  • Be goal directed and capable of managing multiple priorities.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
