ASC is Australia’s submarine company. About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about driving employee engagement and shaping workplace culture through strategic communication? ASC is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Advisor to support our digital transformation journey on a 24-month fixed-term contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll help deliver impactful internal communications that connect, inform; and inspire our people across multiple sites during a period of significant change.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of internal communications and engagement aligned with ASC’s digital transformation goals.
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging messaging across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and culture.
  • Provide expert advice on internal communications and stakeholder engagement best practices.
  • Assist in the creation and rollout of strategic communication project plans.
  • Maintain strong internal and external networks to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to People & Culture initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.

 

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex internal communications, with a strong background in employee and stakeholder engagement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex information and tailor content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing; and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
  • Experience in project management and change communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint; and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Adaptable, proactive; and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in internal events management is desirable

 

Eligibility 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
