About the Opportunity

We are seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract! Reporting to the People and Culture Services Manager you will support the team in achieving positive outcomes in the ASC People strategy.

Responsibilities 

  • Be the first point of contact for People & Culture related enquiries queries and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the wider P&C team, as well as Payroll to ensure the consistent and timely completion of People Services activities and deliverables.
  • Activities relating to employee on boarding, employee lifecycle changes, mobility (domestic and international movements), off boarding, and position management.
  • Timely issue of contracts and on-boarding of new employees in conjunction with Recruitment, Payroll, Security & IT.
  • Ensure all emails received into the P&C mailbox are responded to, or delegated to the relevant member of P&C within a timely manner.
  • Support planning and implementing of People and Culture related initiatives, projects and activities

About you 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality support within a People and Culture environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Understanding of the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, teamwork skills and strong customer service ethos.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
