About the Opportunity

The Supply Officer is responsible for managing the material for WA maintenance Projects and Urgent Defects (URDEFS). This includes controlling the issuing and returning, processing material demands for the Ready Use Store (RUS), Raising Additional Material Requests (AMRs) and the maintenance of corporate inventory records within IFS.

 

Responsibilities

  • Issuing and return of items correctly in IFS (ASC’s management system) in a timely manner as required.
  • Raise demands for all project required items into IFS as required.
  • Stocktaking of stores to ensure accurate stocks items in IFS (ASC’s management system) as required.
  • Safe operation of forklift of physical equipment and items according to processes.

 

About you 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two years’ experience working within an Inventory and Warehouse environment.
  • Sound knowledge of the disciplines of a MRP systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft office.
  • Current Forklift license.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working within IFS (ASC’s management system).   
  • Knowledge of transport and dangerous goods regulations.    
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
