About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and driving meaningful change? We’re seeking a People Experience Specialist to lead the design and delivery of a strategic retention strategy that enhances our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), boosts engagement, and reduces turnover. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, influence organisational culture, and make a lasting impact across diverse employee groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose retention strategy tailored to a multi-program organisation.
  • Align retention initiatives with EVP, DEI strategy, remuneration frameworks, and career pathways.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategies meet business needs and are embedded in operational workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery of People Experience initiatives, including toolkits and resources.
  • Monitor execution and provide coaching/support to leaders to ensure consistent application.
  • Establish feedback loops and track progress against milestones, reporting to leadership.
  • Refine and promote the organisation’s EVP across all employee touchpoints, benchmarking against industry standards.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development, Learning or a related field, with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, retention, or people experience roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and feedback.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing strategic initiatives across diverse teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence outcomes across functions.
  • Experience developing and embedding EVP frameworks and familiarity with employee experience platforms.

 

Eligibility 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
