We have immediate opportunities for skilled people to undertake world-leading training in the United States (U.S), setting you up for a secure career back home in the nuclear-powered submarine program - Australia's largest-ever industrial endeavour.
You will have access to cutting edge training in Pearl Harbor (Hawaii) for 24 - 30 months, with some roles completing placements at other locations throughout the USA during the full course of the assignment.

Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking candidates to undertake opportunities to deploy to US Navy shipyards (Primarily Pearl Harbour, Hawaii) before the end of 2024. Placements will be between 24 - 30 months. During this time, you will receive on the job training combined with instructor led classroom training.
Upon completion of the training, our Plastics & Rubber Technicians are responsible for design, fabrication, planning, manufacturing, installation and modifications of rubber and plastic components. This work is carried out in accordance with company and US Navy processes and procedures.
Opportunities are available immediately and individuals wishing to express interest in a position should be available and interested in being repatriated in the near term.
At the completion of your deployment, you will return to Western Australia to carry out the planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines, this will be non-negotiable so please consider this when applying.
Please note this is a Civilian role and recruitment processes will differ from those undertaken in Active Service Defence recruitment.
