About the Opportunity

Join our team in Osborne, SA to provide accurate and timely Earned Value Management (EVM) information in accordance with In-Service Support Contract, Australian Standard AS4817-2006/2019 and Defence Supplement to Project Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs) and other stakeholders and be the focal point for all EVM and/or Project and Program Cost & Schedule related queries.

 

Responsibilities

Undertake a wide range of activities required to develop and maintain cost information in accordance with the requirements of AS4817-2006/2019 and the associated Defence Supplement.

Sourcing of data such as budgets, actual costs, progress and forecast information from various business systems such as the corporate scheduling tool, project ledger, ERP and the importing of this information into the corporate EVM tool for assigned projects.

Be a contributing member of the Program Services department in the challenging environment of continuous cost efficiency improvement required to achieve Coles Beyond Benchmark Cost Efficiency, as well as ensure value-for-money (VFM) can be demonstrated to all stakeholders. This will involve achieving a sound understanding of related business systems and the data flows between ASC’s ERP system, Contract Management, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling and Project Accounting & Finance.

 

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce/Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the discipline of EVM within a Project Controls team or project management.
  • Experience with and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply principles learnt to problem solving.
  • High attention to detail.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
