About the Opportunity

ASC is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator based in Osbourne, South Australia (SA) on a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity. You will support the delivery of contracted Program Management deliverables and wider Life of Type Extension project. The Project Coordinator will work within a multi-disciplinary environment, engaging with other functions such as Engineering, Procurement, and Project Controls to support the implementation of work breakdown structures and maintain project progress. They will be expected to problem solve, resolve issues associated with project workflows, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and assisting the effective management, coordination, preparation of, and execution of project plans and activities.
  • Support the preparation of internal/external reporting and contracted deliverables, liaising with multiple project teams to coordinate all inputs required.
  • Participating in project risk management, specifically assessments and opportunity reviews, including the development and proactive management of risk mitigation/opportunity realisation strategies.
  • Support and assist in the development and retention of project planning documents, briefing notes, presentations, and other project correspondence and communication materials.
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships across the complete range of business functions such as Project Controls, Scheduling, Engineering, and Procurement.

About you 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical or project management discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, critical thinking, problem-solving, and knowledge of project governance, procurement, contract management, and Earned Value Management.
  • Innovative thinker with strong relationship-building skills and a technical trade background (desirable).

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
