ASC is seeking experienced Project ManagersProject Coordinators, and Project Assistants to join our team across various submarine build, sustainment, and capability programs. These roles are critical to the successful delivery of complex defence projects and offer the opportunity to contribute to Australia’s national security.

ASC is Australia’s submarine company, responsible for building and sustaining the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines and delivering their Life of Type Extension. We have also been selected to sustain and jointly build Australia’s conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines.

Responsibilities

Depending on your role and level of experience, you may:

  • Lead and manage complex defence projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support project planning, reporting, and documentation activities.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and operational teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, presentations, and governance materials.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery and governance.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications in project management, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in project delivery within complex environments, preferably in defence, maritime, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).

Eligibility

These roles require a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible. Location

Opportunities available across both Adelaide, South Australia and Perth, Western Australia.
