About the Opportunity

This role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering SSN AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia. As Recruitment Business Partner, you will be responsible for the data analytics and business reporting of all resourcing activities aligned to the SSN AUKUS Build Program.

Providing a consultative approach to resource decisions, you will work closely with Hiring Managers, Heads of Department, Capability Leads and Executives to provide market insights, recommendations and innovative solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

As Recruitment Business Partner, you will work in tandem with our People & Culture Business Partners to attend department meetings and present on key activities, recruitment progress and other metrics as needed, providing a 360 view of resourcing activities. 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Lead (TAL) to develop creative sourcing strategies and draw on current partnerships to support active vacancy recruitment.
  • Work closely with the Candidate Management Advisors (CMA) to provide insights on the culture, skills and resource best fit for their areas of responsibility and to assist with shortlisting the most suitable candidates for active vacancies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the recruitment for large scale international assignments (as applicable) and will support the CMA’s with decisions around candidate suitability.
  • Lead on remuneration discussions with P&C Business Partners and all negotiations with the successful candidates to ensure a consistent process.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to support in the initial review of their resourcing need and recommend on the best course of action to identify a suitable and quality candidate for the position.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or similar (desirable).
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience within a recruitment function
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition functions.
  • Experience in a similar role with specific experience in leading recruitment partnering solutions within a complex program.
  • Ability to interpret recruitment analytics and metrics.
  • Ability to grow and maintain strong and trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective project management skills with well-developed time management skills to plan workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
