About the Opportunity

Join our team as a Recruitment Business Partner. Working closely with the Candidate Management Advisors, the broader P&C team, Senior Leadership Team and Hiring Managers to maintain a strong level of quality service to Stakeholders and ensure the timely and compliant sourcing of active vacancies. Your primary focus on meeting our immediate and upcoming resource needs will contribute directly to the successful delivery of ASC's submarine programs to the Royal Australian Navy and keeping Australia secure.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Working with Capability Leads and Senior Leadership to track and report on current resourcing performance
  • Supporting programs with identifying upcoming resource needs in alignment to business needs
  • Ensuring resourcing activities are fair, equitable and compliant
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, ensuring visibility of resourcing activity and enhancing opportunity for collaboration across teams such as Learning & Development, People & Culture, Capability Development, Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition
  • Providing a strategic approach to identifying and attracting key talent in a challenging market
  • Lead campaigns aimed at attracting local and international talent
  • Provide strategic recruitment advice and guidance to business units, ensuring alignment with ASC's policies and procedures

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or similar (desirable)
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience within a recruitment function. You may have experience working in a recruitment agency working across a wide range of technical areas with complex compliance processes or internal recruitment from a similar environment
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition functions at the Business Partnering or Lead level
  • Experience in a similar role with specific experience in leading recruitment partnering solutions within a complex program
  • Ability to grow and maintain strong and trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Effective project management skills with well-developed time management skills to plan workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities
  • Naturally inquisitive and confident in questioning around areas of uncertainty
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
