About the Opportunity

The S&TE Officer is responsible for ensuring all Support and Test Equipment is tested and tagged, safe, certified, located appropriately and ready for use. As a service provider to the business, you will be required to support technical personnel in a pro-active manner with review, identification, procurement and management of required Support and Test Equipment in a timely manner to contribute to the scheduled delivery of maintenance tasks. This is a permanent opportunity supporting our Supply team in Henderson, WA.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the S&TE Manager, your role will consist of:

  • Test & Tag of Support & Test Equipment items IAW ASC Electrical Test and Tag process to include PAT testing single and three phase testing.        
  • The quarantining and reporting of damaged Support & Test Equipment items including rectification.
  • Raising purchase requisitions.
  • Following CAPEX purchases from beginning to end.
  • Sourcing and hiring of equipment where required.
  • Regularly liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Adding new items, policies and maintaining IFS (Asset Management System).
  • Provide support through issue and return of Support and Test Equipment.
  • Calibration of various equipment.

 

About you 

  • Test and Tag certification (mandatory) PAT testing single and three phase testing.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Fabrication trade knowledge is highly desirable.
  • 2 years minimum experience in a purchasing role.
  • Experience in the calibration of various technical equipment.
  • Experience and knowledge of safe working practices, legislative requirements and Australian standards pertaining to specific equipment and tools.
  • Advanced computer skills particularly in corporate databases, inventory control programmes and Microsoft office packages.
  • Exemplary communication skills – written and verbal, showcasing your ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the company across WA and SA, both as part of a team and autonomously.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
