About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Advisory: SSN-AUKUS, the Commercial Advisor supports the administration, management, and improvement of commercial activities in support of the SSN-AUKUS Program. Key contracts include the SSN AUKUS Build agreements (Mobilisation Deed and Tasking Statements), Enterprise Collaboration Deed, and any relevant Inter-company Agreements.
The Commercial Advisor will be accountable for all assigned commercial matters, including providing advice on various commercial matters, the development of commercial strategies and agreements, drafting of commercial documents and associated reports, leading or assisting with contract negotiations, coordinating approval of and approving contracts and quotations (including internal authorisation for execution in accordance with the ASC Board delegations), contract administration of key contracts, and the delivery of other commercial initiatives as required by the business.
Responsibilities
Establish robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders to execute SSN AUKUS work scopes.
Align activities with ASC’s strategy and assist in meeting relevant contractual deliverables.
Maintain a strategic perspective on the entire business, considering long-term issues, opportunities, and risks.
Interstate or overseas travel may be required.

Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance, and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
