ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Digital Tools – Governance & Support Technologies Manager, based in Osborne SA, your skills and knowledge in engineering processes, engineering software, software development and IT systems will enable you to support and deliver agreed digital tool solutions and outcomes to the business capabilities (‘ASC end users’). Additionally, your project management experience and knowledge of business and compliance systems will enable you to lead and participate in digital tool governance activities across the organisation. This full-time, permanent role is undertaken in a dynamic and complex environment where customer service and stakeholder engagement are paramount, and your ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams to deliver successful outcomes is essential.
Initially this role will be based full-time in South Australia then after approximately 15 - 18 months, the incumbent will relocate to Western Australia to fulfil the ongoing requirements of the role.

Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
