ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. About the opportunity

Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security, while contributing directly to Australia’s national security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic IT and Cyber Security Graduates who have recently completed a degree in IT or Cyber Security.

This is a structured 2-year program which will commence in January 2027. Located in Osborne, South Australia, this program offers outstanding individuals the opportunity to:

IT Graduate

  • Provide frontline IT operational support
  • Manage and configure hybrid cloud infrastructure, networks, hosting services, and other foundational services
  • Integrate and Develop business solutions
  • Learn and develop new skills in Cloud and platform engineering
  • Develop expertise in Digital Business; data and analytics, process automation, business improvement and project management

Cyber Security Graduate

  • Respond to and investigate cyber security alerts and events
  • Perform routine vulnerability assessments and remediations
  • Administer cyber security toolsets
  • Maintain security records, documentation, and reporting
  • Deliver employee cyber awareness initiatives

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. 

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
