About the Opportunity

As the Learning and Development Coordinator, the role provides proactive coordination and operational support across the full learning lifecycle, working in partnership with L&D specialists, leaders, employees, contractors, and external providers.

This is a highly customer‑facing role that suits a structured, detail‑focused individual who can manage competing priorities with confidence and enjoys supporting the successful delivery of well‑run learning programs across a national footprint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the national L&D training calendar across technical, leadership, and professional development programs.
• Schedule training sessions, facilitators, rooms, and resources to support effective learning delivery.
• Provide end‑to‑end coordination of learning activities, including inductions, onboarding, and program support.
• Act as the first point of contact for L&D enquiries, delivering responsive and professional customer service.
• Maintain training records, enrolments, compliance data, and completion reporting within the LMS.
• Manage and action L&D requests through ticketing systems, ensuring service levels are met.
• Support contracts, invoicing, and financial administration related to learning activities.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external training providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement across L&D operations.

About you

• Experience coordinating learning, training, or program activities in a complex environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• High attention to detail, with confidence maintaining accurate records and data.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Comfortable working with digital tools, including ticketing systems, calendars, and learning platforms.
• Well organised, reliable, and able to work independently while contributing to team outcomes.
• Experience in defence or other regulated industries is advantageous.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
