About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join the team on a 24‑month fixed‑term contract. The Learning & Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting ASC’s Digital Transformation Program (DTP), enabling the organisation’s transition to a more digitally capable future. Reporting to the Change Manager – PLM Transformation Program, you will design and deliver contemporary learning solutions that support system and technical change. This role works across multiple program streams and partners closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to achieve targeted learning outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support learning and development initiatives aligned to the Digital Transformation Program
  • Design and deliver end‑to‑end, audience‑specific learning programs for technical and system changes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and business leaders at all levels
  • Provide insights into contemporary learning practices and recommend innovative, improved approaches
  • Analyse complex data and systems to monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness and key performance indicators
  • Manage the end‑to‑end administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) for the project

 

About you 

  • Strong background in learning and development, with a demonstrated ability to support capability building across teams and individuals
  • Proven experience designing learning solutions for technical, system, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in a project‑based environment, ideally within a large‑scale digital transformation program
  • Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and hands‑on delivery, including design, implementation, and facilitation
  • Confident working independently as an embedded and trusted advisor within an L&D team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a broad, multi‑site stakeholder group and proactively challenge existing approaches to improve outcomes

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
