About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised Medical Administrator to join our team and provide essential support for medical assessments and health centre operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth coordination of medical appointments, accurate record-keeping, and timely processing of candidate health screenings. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule medical appointments across multiple providers (medical, dental, radiology, pathology, etc.).
  • Manage medical files and documentation, including scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Process invoices and raise purchase orders in line with organisational requirements.
  • Prepare tailored medical screening packs for candidates based on job roles.
  • Track and monitor candidate assessment progress using interim systems and contribute to process improvements.
  • Liaise with candidates, internal stakeholders, and external providers to ensure timely communication and updates.
  • Provide daily administrative support to the Medical Deployment team and Health Centre staff.

About you 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ administration experience (medical administration highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a busy clinic and office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive medical information.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
