About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a dynamic Organisational Development Specialist to lead the design and delivery of impactful programs that enhance organisational capability, culture, and performance. Supporting the submarine sustainment business this role will collaborate across teams to create tailored solutions that elevate the employee experience—from onboarding to leadership development. Responsibilities

  •  Leverages our existing programs and frameworks to deliver and customise solutions that support capability development, culture and performance of the submarine sustainment business. Broad remit covering Induction and Onboarding, Repatriation Experience, Leadership Development, Culture, Coaching, Mentoring, Performance and Development and Team Effectiveness. Partner with stakeholders to scope, design, and align solutions to business needs.
  • Facilitate learning and development initiatives in both face-to-face and virtual formats.
  • Conduct individual debriefs using psychometric and team assessment tools (e.g. TMP, 6TC, Facet5, KFLA).
  • Lead team effectiveness workshops and group processes to enhance alignment.
  • Evaluate program impact and report on effectiveness using data-driven insights.
  • Support vendor selection and manage external providers for OD initiatives.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, OD, Learning or a related field, with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering OD programs in dynamic, complex, high-growth environments.
  • Strong knowledge in Organisational Development.
  • Strong demonstrated facilitation skills and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of organisational culture change and capability building approaches.
  • Accreditation in psychometric or team assessment tools (e.g. Facet5, TMP, 6TC, KFLA) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and project management abilities.
  • Collaborative team member who contributes to a positive and supportive team culture and thrives working in ambiguity 
  • Flexible to work outside core hours to support international stakeholders.

 

 Eligibility 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
