About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a capable Process Engineer to join ASC’s Governance & Assurance team, working within the Quality Systems function. In this role, you will partner with the business to develop, implement and maintain high‑quality processes that support compliance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will play a key role in embedding quality principles into business processes and production systems, contributing to improved performance and consistency. This is an opportunity to work in a complex and evolving environment, collaborating across multiple teams and supporting initiatives that strengthen ASC’s overall quality management capability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, models and frameworks aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements and support process improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaboration to gather requirements and drive process design outcomes.
  • Ensure processes comply with relevant standards, regulations and internal governance frameworks.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and performance.
  • Support development and improvement of tools and systems that underpin the Quality Management System.
  • Analyse data and process performance to identify gaps, trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on quality processes, tools and best practices.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance process capability, systems and organisational performance.

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • BPMN 2.0 qualification required.
  • Experience in quality, process improvement, business process management or a similar function.
  • Strong understanding of Business Process Management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality assurance processes and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or similar is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools, with exposure to workflow or automation platforms beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast‑changing environment with a focus on delivering practical outcomes.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
