About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Infrastructure Program Manager, the Infrastructure Scheduler is responsible for providing dedicated scheduling support to infrastructure planning and delivery activities across ASC’s South Australia and Western Australia sites.

The scheduler will support scheduling activities within the infrastructure team, ensuring project timelines are realistic, coordinated and optimised. The role involves development and maintenance of project schedules, progress updates, baseline management and reporting, plus support to improved ways of working including streamlining of scheduling processes, schedule integrations and consolidated data reporting.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop infrastructure project schedules, establishing schedule baselines and EVM performance metrics and ensuring schedules are integrated and aligned with master plans
  • Monitor, maintain and update project schedules, including performance analysis and distribution of project performance reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage scheduling changes and resource allocation
  • Conduct detailed schedule analysis and report progress, risks, and trends to project teams
  • Ensure data integrity across the project lifecycle and support corporate reporting requirements
  • Identify and resolve scheduling issues, schedule risks, disruptions, and compliance gaps
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities including infrastructure scheduling processes, tools and methods

 

About you 

  • Technical qualification in a relevant trade discipline or proven ability as a scheduler in a similar environment
  • Demonstrated scheduling and project planning experience within a complex project environment, preferably within Infrastructure, Construction, Shipbuilding or Heavy Industry
  • A high-level of integrity, resilience and self-motivation, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Advanced Skills in Primavera P6 and other scheduling software, Excel, Power BI, Power Pivot, SQL, and data visualisation software
  • The ability to effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical stakeholder, contractors and external partners

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
